Our Beach Back to Product Information
This chattapac outing introduces some everyday concepts to children. These include how to play safely and protection from the sun. Some children will never have been to the beach so everything will be new and exciting.
The main object of this activity is to allow the children to develop their own adventures at the beach. You can help by reading out the people cards so the children match up the card to the character and any accessories the card refers to. It is then time for you to sit back and allow the children to develop the story in their own way.
Key Activities
Count crabs, help the children work out the time of the next high tide. Work out if there are enough ice creams, design a sand castle and remember what to do if you get lost.

Negotiation, problem solving and basic research skills and the opportunity to build on letter and number writing skills.
Chattapacs-Our Town
Price:
£12.98
(Including: VAT at 17.5%)
This chattapac enables the children to grasp a better understanding of the characters they have met in other adventures. Not only does this adventure deal with different kind of shops, but it also introduces the idea of help through characters such as Angus the doctor.
The adventure begins with the Story sheet on the reverse of the Introduction card and then continues with the People Cards. Getting the children to identify the characters and why they are in town is always a good starting point. As the characters become apparent the story should be developed by the children's own imagination. If the pace begins to slow additional activities such as designing jewelry can be used to keep the adventure interesting.

Our Street Back to Product Information
The objective of this group activity is to introduce the children to the various characters and allow them to identify each person from the accompanying people cards. Having done this they should begin to create each characters story in their own way.
A number of exercises accompany the adventure to help get them started. For example the child decides where a certain character should live and places the character on the board. They then write the house number of that character on his people card. The story develops as the people cards reveal more members of family to be included in that house.
Key Activities
Identify who lives where, describe your neighbours and families, deliver the mail, do the milk round, empty the bins, work out were Ginger the cat has been and who is related to whom.
