Targeteer Stickers and Classroom Helpers

Targeteers are a practical, time-saving sticker resource that helps to raise pupil achievement in Reading, Writing, Numeracy and Science through practical target setting . Each target is provided as a sticker with its own fun graphic to help get the message through.

Targeteers for Reading and Writing are arranged by National Curriculum level; Numeracy by National Numeracy Strategy year objectives and Science according to the QCA Science Scheme of Work Years 1 to 6.

Each A4 sheet of Targeteers contains 20 stickers (10 sheets per pack) with 1 target per sticker, for a single level or year. So Reading Level 3, for example, is a single A4 sheet having 20 stickers providing 20 targets for reading at level 3 and Numeracy Year 3 provides 20 targets relevant to year 3 of NNS.

The targets, which are fully linked to the National Curriculum, the National Numeracy Strategy and QCA Units of Study for Science , are written in child friendly language appropriate to each level or year. A unique character per level makes the targets fun and accessible to the pupils, as well as providing a visual clue to the Target.

There is a small counterfoil sticker beside each target which provides a cross-reference to the NC level, Programme of Study or NNS as appropriate. Teachers may wish to use these counterfoil stickers to add to their other records or the pupil's record of achievement to indicate when a target was set and then accomplished.

Each sheet has a space to write a pupil's name, if desired, thus creating an easy-to-view summary of the targets already achieved and those remaining. Each sheet is hole punched to fit a four ring binder so that sheets can be filed in class sets alphabetically by pupil name and by subject for easy reference.

Targeteers are provided in packs of 10 sheets. Ring binders that hold up to 160 sheets are also available.
